Attention All Ropers!
The BCTRA board of directors have decided to change the membership cards' expiry dates. Anyone that holds a 2015 BCTRA card will not need to purchase one until January 1st, 2016. Any ropers attending a roping from now until December 31st, 2015 will need to purchase a card that will be pro-rated. All of our cards will now expire December 31st each year, and ropers will be required to purchase a new one January 1st of each year. We have decided to do this so our cards will have the same expiry date as the Horse Council cards. When ropers go to purchase their BCTRA cards, they will be required to show proof they have a valid Horse Council card (HCBC card). If they can not prove they have a valid HCBC card, they will not be allowed to purchase a BCTRA card, until they have a HCBC card. If for some reason they purchase a BCTRA card at a roping and there is no verification of a valid HCBC card, the roping(s) they attended will not count toward the finals. If they purchase an associate card and there is no verification of a valid HCBC card, their BCTRA associate card will be void, until they have a valid HCBC card.
