2015 Annual General Meeting Minutes

Saturday, August 1st, 2015

Alex Fraser Park, Quesnel, B.C.

 

Meeting called to order at 3:00 pm

57 Members in attendance

1)      President’s Message – Lloyd Bentley

v  Lloyd thanked everyone for attending the 2015 finals

2)      Secretary’s Report – Rae-Lynn Lytton

v  Ropings were also down from 39 last year to 36 this year.

v  This year there was a balance of $12731.02 after all expences paid.

v  $3000.00 will be added to each payout for the 2015 finals,

v  Adoption of minutes from 2014 AGM, and secretary’s report, was by Ryan MacNaughton, and seconded by Darin Jones

3)      BCTRA Directors Nominations:

All Directors accepted the motion to stand for another 2 years.

Carey Isnardy nominated Bob Granholm. Accepted.

Greg Wilson nominated Dave Jeffers.  Accepted

Tim Terepocki nominated Jordan Dinwoodie. Accepted

Dusty Johnson nominated Jarett Callison. Accepted

Chad Evenson motioned to accept all the new directors, Greg Wilson seconded it. All in favor, motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS

1)      Finals:

v  Cecil Louis motioned that the flaggers need to have more direction on taking the cattle out of the pen.

It was open to discussion and was decided that the cattle calls would be up to the flagger, the directors will speak with the flagger and make it more clear to them that they have the option to call a cow anytime during the roping.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 3:16 pm
